Nana & Grandpa came to visit for Thanksgiving day to celebrate the holiday with us! It was wonderful to have them here and we had such a wonderful day I felt compelled to make this site. Sadly there aren't a lot of pictures of Nana and Grandpa but you'll get the idea about the day we spent together.

We woke up on Thanksgiving morning to this...

and this...

about 4 inches of it actually!

I have to admit, it looked really pretty  :)

After Ben had some Mommy milk & a little breakfast
Nana got to do something she's never done before...
Hold Ben without him screaming his head off.
He took the opportunity to explore her face with his most
trusted sense, his sense of touch! I think they both liked it.

The children could not resist the call of the snow,
so in old (small!) boots, and their coats out they went.

don't let the look on his face fool you, he had a BLAST!

Yeah, she loved it.

Yup, her too!
I think that snowball may have outweighed our tiny Tessa  :)

Patch was a little hesitant at first, but got into it pretty quick!

The girls had fun running and then sliding down the hill in the snow!

They were very proud of their creation!
Well, maybe with the exception of Patch,
I'm not sure what that look on his face is about!  LOL!

The Snowman had TWO faces! One facing the woods, and one the driveway!
This is the other side of the Snowman.

We got NO pictures of the table or food! Ed & I had a difficult night with Ben and Patch the night before so we "slept in" until about 7. We got no showers and no time for showers since our 20 lb. turkey ended up cooking in 4.5 hours! Our big Thanksgiving meal happened a bit earlier than we had anticipated!  LOL!

Still I must say that Nana and I made a killer meal. The turkey was juicy and perfect, the mashed potatoes divine, the sweet potatoes delish, and homemade gravy unbelievable, and everything else just perfect. One of the best Thanksgiving dinner's I've ever had, and my mom and me made it ourselves  :)

Thanksgiving Day this year also marked Ben's 8 month birthday
He was also exactly 35 weeks old too! So we did a photo shoot!

This picture of Ben just blows me away. Look at his left eye! It's open so wide and you can see how hard he's working to open it up! He's really workin' that eyebrow of his. I just love this picture. This is what Ben looks like when I look at him. Beautiful and perfect and the sweetest little thing you'd ever want to see.  He is my heart.

These picture were taken about 15 seconds apart...

YAY... Ben happy!

Awwwww, Ben sad!!! (& a little out of focus!)

All of Ben, from his hair just coming in
all the way down to his stanky little feet!

And is it just me or does it seem like his eyes aren't crossing as severely as they have been in the past? I mean they still cross but it seems like they're not nearly as bad as they were a few weeks ago. Hmmm, something to discuss with the Dr. for sure!

I know this is huge but I LOVE this picture!

I really didn't think he could sit up that well in a seat but we put him there to give it a shot and Ed and I were both very pleasantly surprised! We started laughing and giggling with glee!  Doesn't he look very grown up and comfy in that chair? I can't believe that our baby is 8 months old already.

Brothers are the best!

aren't brother kisses the best?
well, maybe right after Mommy kisses and Daddy kisses!

Both of them were giggling!
I love that!!!

My Three sons...
Okay, okay - Our Three sons!

And so went our Thanksgiving. Nana and Grandpa spent the night and the kids loved that. They all had a camp out in the boys room! We got snow! There was a snowman! We ate and ate and ate and ate. We had a photo shoot to show off Ben on his 8 month birthday. Then after Nana and Grandpa went home we took turns on the PS2, laughed, and finished off the evening with the kids watching the Charlie Brown Thanksgiving Day Special  :) You couldn't ask for a better day!
